Dear Fellow Passionate Media Followers,
Today, my group had a conference call in which we started to finalize the plot. As we talked, I made a storyboard which I have attached below. We decided that the first couple of shots of our film opener are going to be different B-roll of Miami. We decided that the B-roll will have a film overlay to give the film the esthetic we are looking for. Also, we decided to put the major contributors in the film labels such as: the director, executive producer, lead actor, etc.
The couple shots of the film will capture three skater friends skating around Miami acting like they are having fun. We will capture them laughing together, doing cool skate tricks, and making fun of each other.
The last couple shots will capture the main character of the film trying to jump a big staircase. We will capture him failing and his friends getting mad at him and starting to punch him. The last shots will capture the main character bleeding on the floor and crying. The film opener will end by a black screen and the title of the film on it.
The plan for our plot is very broad and we plan to make a more concise plot and story board this upcoming week.
NOTE: we haven’t really planned out the middle of the story board. We are going to plan that out in class tomorrow.
